This year I participated for the first time at the Global Game Jam. The theme this year was "Roots". Together with Freek Verheijde (BoterJan), Michiel Proce, Robert Mertens (Sfinx Games) and Tony Fial (Sfinx Games) we made "Wortel Kombat".
The game: You are a gardener and need to tend to the roots of a strange plant. Feed it leaves and gather its fruit to collect points but don’t let the roots bump into the garden fence or anything else otherwise the plant will go sad and costing you a life.
My tasks included:
Creating the character and beets (design, 3D model, rigging)
